tree swallow eggs and sunflowers

And in this nest there was an egg,
The prettiest egg that you ever did see ...

They leaned to me, the sunflowers
And whispered, long ago__

summer song

summer breeze
summer long
I'll sing to you
my summer song

change the world ...

i first saw her at the state fair when i was 16 ...
and :::sigh::: she's still one of the most awesome women
ever
...

Change The World

It ain't mine
It ain't yours
But I'm here
I ain't goin' anywhere

It ain't his
It ain't hers
It's for all
Is that somethin' we can learn

It's time we stop all the hatin'
Let's start today
Go find a way

To change the World
Gotta change the world
Go change the world
Gotta change the world

Well do ya care
Bout what's fair?
It don't matter
As long as you get your share

Now I see
Disparity
What needs to be
Hell it isn't charity

It's time we stop all the fightin'
Let's start today
Go find a way

To change the World
Gotta change the world
Go change the world
Gotta change the world

I dare ya are ya scared?
I dare ya are ya scared?

It's time we stop all the hatin'
Let's start today
Go find a way

To change the World
Gotta change the world
Go change the world
Gotta change the world

To change the World
Gotta change the world
Go change the world
Gotta change the world

Frank and the Dining Room Table … or, what is up with the Nazi name calling?

It’s been said that the moment you resort to calling someone else a Nazi, you’ve lost your argument ... a point lost on this woman from Massachusetts.

Woman: “Why do you continue to support a Nazi policy?”

Surely she knows that Rep. Braney Frank is both Jewish and homosexual, which would have made him doubly targeted by the real Nazis?

Barney Frank: “You stand there with a picture of the President defaced to look like Hitler and compare the effort to increase health care to the Nazis. By answering you, as I said before, is a tribute to the first amendment that this kind of vile, contemptible nonsense is so freely propagated. Ma’am, trying to have a conversation with you would be like trying to argue with a dining room table. I have no interest in doing it.”

Woman: “I don’t like your answer.”

Hey, Dining Room Table Lady, I don’t like your question.

Strangely enough, in a diametrically opposed sort of way, in Las Vegas, a woman against health care reform shouted “Heil Hitler” to an American-Israeli man, then went on to make a “cry baby” motion with her hands.

"Shame of you," he said ...

Shame of all of us, I say ...
